Update 1.01 !!!
1.01 Update
UPDATE TIME. I didn’t anticipate on doing this but I kinda just impulsively decided to work on this. The game is largely ironed out now, there’s a few areas I wish to improve still but I’m content with this iteration.
With this update I’ll still retain the original version download if you’re curious to try the original release, but I just wanted to put out an update to improve the experience.
Also please let me know your thoughts! I can adjust the stats in another update so let me know if you find this more difficult or easy; and whether you found that experience more enjoyable, exciting or frustrating as a result.

PATCH NOTES
=Additions=
- Beating the game reveals which secrets you have yet to uncover more directly without disclosing further information
- Lost Armour Points will be restored after 45 seconds. However, this timer is quite long so it proves ineffective in combat
- Secrets found unlock features in Practice Mode
- Companion heals you a tiny amount each second
- New secret spaces added (nothing crazy, but just kinda neat)
=Balancing Tweaks or Adjustments=
- 4 Point Armour provided same resistances as 3 Point Armour. Only benefit is the additional Armour Point.
- Blood Flask no longer repairs Vessel in any capacity. Description adjusted too.
- Blood Flask placement lightly remixed
- Taking Armour damage now only absorbs 50% damage instead of 100% (this is on top of further division from player resistances and as such the resulting damage received is incredibly low)
- Boss receives slight increase in Health and Armour, adds kept the same
- Boss has been given slight boost in resistance to Flame
- Some enemies have been given slight reduction in resistance to Flame
- Boss Armour Recovery Delay has been decreased
- Enemies now have a timer when turning to face you to perform an attack
- Fire Imprint has applies slightly less fire damage onto your weapon than before
=Bug Fixes=
- Practice Mode has been updated and is now easy to use. Using the Spawner items in Practice Mode is now simple and you can spawn as many enemies as you’d like lol
- Enemies will no longer continue to approach you during their Cooldown period, this led to some oddities such as moving without an animation playing. The same thing was occurring for leaving the enemy’s aggro range whilst they were chasing you.
- Enemies no longer override their own attacks, and performing Timed Blocks is now much more encouragable.
- Champion’s downward swing is now consistently parry-able.
- You could previously leave the Champion boss room after entering the trigger, this would lead to a softlock. This has now been fixed.
- Player’s parry hitbox would linger and remain functional if you parried and ran out of stamina due to a weapon clash, this would cause the opponent to respond as if they have been parried even though they should not. This has been fixed.
- Cage Doll’s cage now emits hit sounds when hit to provide better feedback
- Lighting on the 2nd floor has been improved
- Window on the ground floor UV has been fixed to match the rest
- Various collision oversights and mesh refinements
- Inventory Item Amounts are saved and loaded correctly at checkpoints
- Can no longer apply Fire Imprint onto… nothing lol
- Inventory screen is hidden when you die whilst you’re accessing it
- Flame Particle effect rendering issue fixed
=Known Issues That Persist=
- The falling and grounding system is still not as refined as I’d like, several solutions I’ve tried tend to diminish the player’s behaviour going up or down slopes.
